Project Summary
Tesla: The Child of Light is a sweeping, emotionally charged biopic that traces the extraordinary life of Nikola Tesla—from his mystical birth under a summer storm in Serbia to his fevered visions of alien technology and his relentless pursuit of alternating current. Haunted by the death of his gifted brother and driven by a mind that sees diagrams in lightning flashes, young Tesla battles ridicule, illness, and obsession as he transforms from a misunderstood boy into one of history’s most electrifying inventors. Set against the backdrop of 19th-century Europe and the rise of industrial America, the film blends poetic realism with surreal visions—UFOs, cosmic light, and psychic transmissions—to explore the inner world of a man who lived decades ahead of his time. With moments of humor, heartbreak, and triumph, Tesla’s journey is not just scientific—it’s spiritual, cinematic, and deeply human.
