Project Summary
Natasha "Tasha" Amenze, a 17-year-old Nigerian/Persian American girl who is desperate to find work all summer, finally lands part-time work at a Chinese-owned beauty supply store. When she exposes a co-worker's secret hustle to protect her own position, her betrayal triggers a chain of events that explodes into racial tension, police violence, and a moral reckoning.
