Bruce Morris and David Jennings, as well as their wives, Annie and Sarah, have been inseparable friends since high school. However, when Sarah loses her battle with cancer, it changes the dynamic of their friendship. When Bruce goes away on a business trip, he entrusts David to look after Annie and their two daughters. Suddenly, Annie and David start to reminisce, spend more time together, and develop a clandestine love affair.
