Stephanie, Bride to Be

Stephanie, Bride to Be is currently in production in New York City as the directorial debut of Allie Viti. SNL's Veronika Slowikowska leads the cast as Stephanie, a woman whose carefully planned proposal party spirals into chaos while she awaits her boyfriend's arrival. Written by Viti and Zach Schiffman from a story they developed with Slowikowska, the comedy features Michael Imperioli and Amy Sedaris as Stephanie's parents, with Lea DeLaria as a restaurant manager and Reina Hardesty as a surprise ex. The project marks the first narrative feature from executive producer John Wilson, creator of HBO's How To with John Wilson. The film is a co-production between Wilson's Peanut World Pictures and JR Rappaport's Glasshouse Pictures, with additional producing from Peter Heres, Meryl Faye Crock, Will Deasey, and Joaquin Acrich.
