Squishmallows

Amazon MGM Studios is developing a feature film based on Squishmallows, the billion-dollar collectible plush toy brand created by Jazwares. The studio is partnering with producer Beau Flynn through his FlynnPictureCo banner, with Shelby Thomas overseeing development. Flynn brings extensive experience in family entertainment and brand adaptations, having produced Disney's Moana and currently developing Warner Bros.' Hello Kitty feature. Amazon MGM is licensing rights and co-producing with Jazwares, the Florida-based toy company owned by Berkshire Hathaway. The project is in early development, with creative details including format and directors not yet announced. Since their 2017 debut, Squishmallows have grown into an international phenomenon with over 3,000 unique character designs.
