Sickert

Sickert is a historical thriller limited series in development with Oscar-winning director László Nemes attached to co-write and direct. The project centers on German-British painter Walter Sickert, who straddled Victorian London's high society and the marginalized underclass of Whitechapel—the same district where Jack the Ripper claimed his victims in 1888. The series explores the controversial theory that Sickert himself may have been the infamous serial killer. Oscar-nominated producer Alexander Rodnyansky is producing through his AR Content banner, with Adam Baroukh co-writing alongside Nemes. The project follows the artist as he becomes a person of interest in Scotland Yard's investigation, with his grip on reality beginning to falter as he questions his own innocence. Nemes will also executive produce alongside Rodnyansky, Stuart Manashil, and Michael Kupisk.
