R.L. Stine's The Babysitter

R. L. Stine's The Babysitter is a feature film adaptation of the horror author's 1989-1995 book series, marking the fourth collaboration between Tubi and Stine. Trevor Calverley directs from a screenplay by Jem Garrard, who previously helmed Tubi's Pumpkinhead films. The thriller centers on Jenny, a teenager desperate to earn money for a prestigious writing program who accepts a babysitting position despite reports of a prowler targeting girls in her town. When threatening phone calls begin and a dangerous fugitive surfaces, Jenny grows increasingly suspicious of everyone around her. Blue Ice Pictures produces, with Lance Samuels, Joan Waricha, Jane Stine, and Garrard executive producing. The film was announced at New York Comic Con in October 2026 and is scheduled to premiere exclusively on Tubi in 2027.
