Pendekar: Warrior

Pendekar: Warrior brings martial arts star Iko Uwais back to his Silat roots in an Indonesian action thriller currently in pre-production. The film is directed by John Radel, the Australian cinematographer making his solo directorial debut after working with Uwais on previous productions. Produced by Asia Media Alliance Group, Nation Pictures, Yeti Entertainment, and Red Packet Media, the project marks the first release from a new joint venture aimed at elevating Southeast Asian genre filmmaking for global markets. Uwais serves as executive producer alongside Ryan Susanto through Uwais Pictures. The film will shoot entirely in Indonesia this summer, drawing on local crews, locations across Jakarta's markets and alleys, and up-and-coming martial arts performers. K-Movie Entertainment is handling international sales and launched the project at the Cannes Film Market.
