Project Summary
On Standby returns for a second season on Yes, the Israeli broadcaster's comedy-drama created by and starring Gitit Fisher. Fisher co-creates the series with Jonathan Gurfinkel, who also directs. The show follows Sagit, an airport security officer stuck in every aspect of her life who joins a creative writing workshop, where her cynical humor and buried dreams begin to surface alongside an unexpected chance at love. Yoav Gross Productions produces the half-hour series, which performed well on Yes and its VoD platform during its first season debut in summer 2026. Fisher is currently developing scripts for the new season, with production timelines to be announced.
