Project Summary
It’s 1974 in a small, traditional village in Nova Scotia. Casey, a spunky and idealistic nine-year-old girl, wants the same rights and privileges as her older brother, namely a bike with gears, and she’s willing to do what it takes to buy one. She takes on a job as the village’s first female paper carrier.
