Mi Familia: Sen Dog and the American Dream

Mi Familia: Sen Dog and the American Dream is currently in production as a feature documentary about Cypress Hill co-founder Senen 'Sen Dog' Reyes. Directed by Christian Jean, the film traces Reyes' family history from their origins in Cuba through the Communist Revolution to their new life in South Central Los Angeles during the gang violence of the 1980s, culminating in the formation of one of hip-hop's most influential groups. The production features interviews with music icons including B-Real, Slash, Chuck D, DMC, George Clinton, Will. i. am, Emilio Estefan, and Pitbull. Reyes serves as co-writer and producer alongside Christina Banker through Freedom Village Films, with Jean producing under Bon Accord Picture Company and Sam Okun executive producing.
