Medium Rare

Medium Rare is a psychological horror short film written and directed by Jeff Barker, a screenwriter and script consultant on the recent hit Obsession. Dane Cook stars in the lead role, with Oscar-nominated actress Lesley Ann Warren also cast. The film is produced by Jacob Yakob, Mehrodod Heydari of LD Entertainment, Alex Bretow and Kourosh Ahari of Mammoth Pictures, Lee Roy Kunz of World's Fair Pictures and Chuck Shaughnessy. Production is expected to begin in Los Angeles later this summer. Barker originally wrote Medium Rare as a short story eight years ago and is now bringing it to life as his directorial debut in the horror space.
