The Little Girl Who Wasn't

Gabby can pass for 8 years old, but we'll learn she's older. An orphan born with dwarfism, she was abandoned overseas by her American mother, and has survived both a natural disaster and a difficult foster-care system. Not surprisingly, she has some behavioral issues. Gabby is the mystery at the heart of the story: is she an evil presence trying to take advantage of her new family, or is something else going on?
