Project Summary
Lé Nør is a feature film adaptation of the Perth Festival stage production, moving from theatre to cinema with the original creative team. Light Sound Art Film has signed a memorandum of understanding with Perth theatre company The Last Great Hunt to develop the project, with Adriane Daff, Arielle Gray, Chris Isaacs, and Tim Watts set to write, direct, and star. Producer Jolyon Hoff is leading the production for Light Sound Art Film, which is expanding into scripted work after establishing itself in documentary. The film will be shot in one or very limited takes in a single location, with Byron Bay-based Post 11 as post-production partner. The team is currently raising finance with production targeted for Q3 or Q4 2027. The stage show premiered at Perth Festival in 2019 and was described as a faux foreign film performed live, set in the fictional island nation of Sólset.
