Deify is an indie psychological horror film heading into production under the direction of brother filmmakers Carmelo and Nicholas Chimera. Neal McDonough stars as the assistant attorney general and prosecuting attorney, facing off against Skeet Ulrich's enigmatic cult leader who pleads insanity and claims to receive commands directly from God. Written by Nicholas Chimera and inspired by the 1993 Waco, Texas standoff between the Branch Davidians and federal authorities, the film explores the courtroom battle following a mass tragedy. Jordan Gianeschi, Jacob Rice, and Mike Manning are producing, with Neal and Ruvé McDonough serving as executive producers. The production is set to shoot in Chicago, with casting currently being handled by Steven Tylor O'Connor and Becca McCracken.
