Broken Ones

Broken Ones is a legal thriller currently in production under the direction of writer-director Timothy Gagliardo. The film stars Guillermo Iván as Joseph Santiago, a former felon who discovers a corporate cover-up while investigating a car accident on behalf of a victim's family. Terrence Howard plays attorney Benjamin Drake, and Kate Bosworth portrays corporate defense attorney Kathleen Sloane. Inspired by the memoir of producer and co-writer Alejandro Zavala, the project explores themes of redemption, justice, family, and the defining choices that shape a person's life. Production companies include UFO Pictures and Al Bravo Films, with filming taking place in Kansas City, Missouri at locations including Kaw Point Park, Penn Valley Park, the Plaza, and a local hospital. A companion film, Real Ones, drawing from the same memoir, is also in development.
