Best Divorce Ever

Best Divorce Ever reunites Amy Schumer with comedy in both starring and producing roles. The film comes from writer-director Sean Mullin, whose previous work includes Bob Trevino Likes It and Amira & Sam. Schumer will produce alongside Matthew Lee Miller and Natalie Metzger through Vanishing Angle, the production company behind Kill Me, Werewolves Within, and Thunder Road. Concourse Media is executive producing and financing the project alongside its sister company, Archetype Media Finance, and is launching worldwide sales at the Toronto market next month. The story follows Clarissa and Franklin, who after two decades together throw an 'Untying the Knot' party to celebrate their newly single lives, only to find that their perfectly planned amicable divorce descends into chaos through disastrous dates and misguided attempts at conscious uncoupling. The screenplay was inspired by Mullin's own amicable divorce experience.
