Project Summary
In 2093 the Earth's northern and Southern Hemispheres are radioactive wastelands — the world's remaining human populations turn to Mother Africa for food and shelter while Africa turns to a future beyond our planet. This high-concept sci-fi/thriller boldly explores many relevant social issues within an unfamiliar landscape and through an unfamiliar voice. The project touches on the possible ramifications of connecting the human brain to computerized technology. Within what ultimately is a story of hope, this narrative weaves its way through a backdrop of overpopulation, species classification, race, love, and human migration beyond our world in this fresh perspective on a possible future reality. Shooting September 14–26, 2026 in Los Angeles, CA.
