Anglers

Anglers is an eight-episode unscripted series from filmmakers Owen and Quentin Reiser, the duo behind the viral YouTube documentary Listers. Amplify Pictures has greenlit the half-hour series with Danny McBride's Rough House Pictures serving as executive producer. The series follows the brothers as they hit the road with a Craigslist boat and attempt to navigate America's many fishing subcultures before entering a bass fishing tournament. Production begins this summer in the Pacific Northwest, with the Reisers serving as creators, directors, executive producers, and stars. The independently financed project represents Amplify's continued strategy of self-financing television productions, following their Emmy-winning HBO series 100 Foot Wave. Executive producers include Joe Lewis, Luke Esselen, Rachel Eggebeen, and Colin Miller for Amplify, plus Danny McBride, David Gordon Green, and Brandon James for Rough House Pictures.
