In 1982, four camp gay stewards on the ferry Norland go from cheeky Rotterdam–Hull runs to being requisitioned for the Falklands War. Facing homophobia, then real combat, they become unlikely heroes after surviving the first landing under Argentine bombardment, only to be forgotten once the war ends.
