Project Summary
A Night in Porto is a romantic dramedy currently in production in the Portuguese city of Porto. The film reunites stars Daniela Melchior and Corey Mylchreest as former lovers who cross paths unexpectedly on Christmas Eve. Antonio Sequeira, who wrote the script and won the Austin Film Festival Audience Award for his debut feature Autumn, co-directs alongside Anastasiia Vorotniuk. The production is led by British-based Kurious Studios in partnership with Porto's Homnage Films and Pris Audiovisuais. Steven Flynn and Sequeira produce for Kurious, Roberto Santos for Homnage, with Gil Santos and Antonio Augusto executive producing. Filming has taken the cast through various locations across Porto, with the production reportedly targeting a Christmas 2026 release to mirror the film's seasonal setting.
