A Christmas Rescue is a heartfelt Christmas story about two broken hearts who find each other at exactly the right time. After suffering multiple miscarriages, Maya is grieving not only the children she lost, but the future she believed she was supposed to have. She loves her husband, Grant, deeply, but she has lost her sense of purpose, hope, and connection to the life around her. At the same time, Yoda, a tiny former service dog, experiences a devastating loss of his own. The elderly woman he devoted his life to caring for dies, leaving Yoda alone and confused. He stays beside her, waiting for her to wake up — until eventually he is taken to an animal rescue. Yoda doesn't understand why his person disappeared. He only knows that he had a purpose once.
