8000 Shots

Will is a combat veteran, from the first Gulf War, who thought his ghosts were long gone. The suicide of Timothy, a young returning soldier from Iraq, resurrects his past demons and forces him to confront the fact that healing from war is not possible. He encounters Isabelle, a volatile young female Marine returning from Iraq, and their relationship has the potential to guide them both toward a way out of trauma, violence and self- destruction. Several characters in this film will be played by actual combat veterans, who will appear as themselves in the film, in improvisatory scenes with the other lead actors.
