Stephanie Savage is a Canadian screenwriter and television producer from Calgary, Alberta, best known for co-creating and executive producing The O.C. (Fox) and Gossip Girl (The CW) with longtime creative partner Josh Schwartz. In 2010, the duo founded Fake Empire, a Los Angeles-based production company responsible for a slate of culturally defining series including Dynasty, Marvel's Runaways, Nancy Drew, Looking for Alaska, and City on Fire. Savage began her career as VP of Development at Drew Barrymore's Flower Films, helping develop films such as Never Been Kissed and Charlie's Angels, before pivoting to television. In 2025, she and Schwartz were announced as co-executive producers on a Clueless series for Peacock.
