Jon Jashni is an American media investor, content producer, and former President & Chief Creative Officer of Legendary Entertainment, which he co-founded in January 2006 and helped grow into a diversified, multi-platform media company before its $3.5 billion sale to Wanda Group in 2016. He is currently Principal of Raintree Ventures, his entertainment investment and incubation fund, and operates Synthesis Entertainment in alliance with Legendary, through which he produced three seasons of Netflix's Lost in Space and is developing reimaginings of classic Irwin Allen sci-fi properties. He is also Chairman of the Board at Sid & Marty Krofft Pictures (as of March 2025) and a Founding Advisor/Investor at Influence Media Partners and Teton Ridge Entertainment. Over his career, Jashni has been associated with content generating over $7 billion in gross revenue and received a Tony nomination in 2018 as a producer of the Broadway revival of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Carousel.
