Nickel City Pictures is a Los Angeles-based production company focused on developing and producing commercial film and television content across all genres. Founded in 2016 by former PalmStar Media executives Ankur Rungta and Vishal Rungta, the company has backing from Olive Tree Capital and an exclusive development financing partnership with European distributor Telepool GmbH. Since 2020, the company has produced over a dozen feature films, including Land of Bad, Marlowe, Sleeping Dogs, Playdate, and Haunt, working with high-profile talent such as Russell Crowe, Liam Neeson, Kevin James, and Owen Wilson.
