Depth of Field

Depth of Field is a Los Angeles-based feature film and television production company founded in 1999 by writer-director brothers Chris and Paul Weitz following their breakout hit American Pie, together with producer Andrew Miano. The company is known for producing critically acclaimed and awards-recognized films across a wide range of genres, including About a Boy (Academy Award nomination), The Farewell (A24, Golden Globe winner), Columbus, Afraid (Sony/Blumhouse), and the Amazon series Mozart in the Jungle (Golden Globe winner). Depth of Field has maintained successive first-look deals with major studios including Amazon Studios, Paramount Television, and CBS Television Studios, and is currently developing the Apple TV+ series Murderbot with Alexander Skarsgård.
