Creative B. C.

Creative BC is an independent non-profit society created and supported by the Province of British Columbia in 2013, formed through the merger of the BC Film Commission and BC Film + Media. Its mandate is to sustain and grow B.C.'s creative industries — motion picture, interactive and digital media, music and sound recording, and magazine and book publishing — by administering provincial motion picture tax credit programs, delivering funding and export marketing support, and operating the provincial film commission. Acting as an industry catalyst and ambassador, Creative BC serves to attract inward investment and market British Columbia as a world-class destination for domestic and international content creation.
