Brownstone Productions

Brownstone Productions, Inc. is an American film and television production company founded in October 2002 by actress-director-producer Elizabeth Banks and her husband, sportswriter-producer Max Handelman. The company is best known for producing the Pitch Perfect franchise (all three films grossed over $1 billion worldwide), Charlie's Angels (2019), Cocaine Bear (2023), and the Hulu series Shrill. As of 2019, the company is headquartered on the Universal Studios Lot, and in June 2025 it signed a new first-look deal with Universal Television to develop scripted series across all platforms, including two projects already in development at Peacock.
