Ashland Hill Media Finance is an independent film and television financing company founded in 2022 by principals Joe Simpson, Simon Williams, and Jonathan Bross, with offices in Santa Monica, London, and Tallinn, Estonia. Backed by a large U.S.-based institutional investor, the firm provides senior secured loans, gap financing, bridge loans, and finishing funds against tax incentives and pre-sales to independent film and TV productions worldwide. The company aims to finance upwards of 25 projects per year and has backed over 20 films since launch, including high-profile titles such as The Crow reboot and The Magic Faraway Tree. Ashland Hill also holds a majority stake in global sales company Palisades Park Pictures.
