Chris O'Donnell, LL Cool J and Daniela Ruah are back as Special Agents in the 9th season of NCIS: Los Angeles. Shooting began on July 15, 2017 and continues until March of 2018.
The new season starts with two losses to the NCIS family, Owen Granger and Michelle Hanna. The new season will explore the new dynamic. Produced by CBS Television Studios, Belisarius Productions, and Shane Brennan Productions, the new season is currently filming in Los Angeles. Project Synopsis The series follows the Naval Criminal Investigative Services Office of Special Projects in Los Angeles. The special agents on the team work undercover. Leading the team are Special Agents G. Callen and Sam Hanna. Special Agent Kensi Blye and LAPD officer Marty Deeks complete the field team. Most of the team grew up as street kids, but Sam Hanna is a former Navy Seal. Supervisor Hetty Lange is a veteran undercover officer with a mysterious and sorted past, especially as it relates to Callen.
