Project Summary
Scott Bakula is attached to star in and executive produce an untitled detective procedural at CBS, marking a potential return to the network five years after NCIS: New Orleans concluded its seven-season run. The high-concept series is set in Los Angeles and comes from Dean Devlin's Electric Entertainment, the independent studio behind The Librarians and Leverage franchises. Writer-producer Michael Sussman, who previously collaborated with Bakula on Star Trek: Enterprise, is penning the script and will executive produce alongside Bakula and Devlin. The project remains in early development with no production timeline or series order yet in place. If it moves forward, it would mark Electric Entertainment's first broadcast series after years of producing cable content.
