Talk to Me When You Are Dead

Talk to Me When You Are Dead is the debut feature from Singapore filmmaker Alvin Lee, currently in development with producers Anthony Chen and Gina Tan through Giraffe Pictures. The project is being pitched at the Busan Asian Project Market to secure co-producers and financing. After several years in development, the script is now in its third draft. Lee, whose short films have won awards internationally including at China's Golden Rooster Awards, began writing the film while grieving his best friend who died four years ago. The near-future dramedy follows programmer Yong Yi, who creates a digital copy of his late wife Kate and is eventually hired to build a replica of a terminally ill architect, forcing him to confront what really happened to Kate. Chen tracked Lee's work since film school and collaborated on shaping this first feature.
