Sentinel 6

Sentinel 6 is an Afro-futurist anime series moving into production with Creative Freaks, the Kyoto-based animation studio, leading the project. Created by Pat Stout and the late Asa Palmer through their production company Sable Kudzu, the series follows six young heroes who embody different aspects of Earth's sentinel power—mind, heart, sword, shield, hands, and feet—as they defend against an intergalactic threat. LeSean Thomas, known for Yasuke and The Boondocks, wrote the pilot and serves as consulting producer. The project is executive produced by former NBA player Michael Carter-Williams and NFL running back Jamaal Williams, who fully funded the pilot in late 2025. The series is planned for 11 to 12 thirty-minute episodes and will be produced in English first, with Burbank-based Bang Zoom! handling reverse localization into Japanese. Voice cast includes influencer King Vader (Dominique Barrett), Jamaal Williams, and veteran dub actor Cedric Williams.
