Project Summary
Satellite of Love is a memory-bending drama from South Korean filmmaker Park Syeyoung, currently in script development. The project marks the fourth collaboration between Park and producer Philippe Bober of Coproduction Office, following their work on The Fin, which premiered at Locarno in 2025. The film is being presented at the 2026 Asian Project Market in Busan as a Korea-Germany co-production. Park, whose previous features include The Fifth Thoracic Vertebra and The Fin, is developing the project alongside several commercial features he plans to shoot in Korea. The script explores themes of memory, deception, and manufactured emotion through the story of a woman's decade-long confinement in a rural love motel.
