This sexy psychological drama follows the dual journeys of two strangers destined to change the other’s life. Roberta is the beautiful but abused mistress of an upscale Florida drug courier (Ramon) traveling westward toward Reno with a cache of cocaine. Meanwhile, Bobby, a middle-aged, homeless war vet and recovering cocaine addict, heads eastward on the same lonely interstate, in pursuit of a long-expired job opportunity in Omaha. Trapped by a fateful and vicious blizzard at an isolated motel-truck stop, Roberta accepts the unconditional kindness of the mysteriously dispirited Bobby, who befriends her by sharing his sparse room while they are stranded over Christmas.
