Nasty

Nasty returns director Mary Bronstein to the big screen following her Oscar-nominated collaboration with Rose Byrne on If I Had Legs I'd Kick You. The gymnastics drama stars Byrne and Jenna Ortega in a story centered on a determined athlete fighting for a place on the Olympic team, only to find her greatest challenge isn't the competition but her relationship with her demanding coach. Isabella Jarosz wrote the screenplay, which appeared on the 2024 Black List. Margot Robbie's LuckyChap is producing alongside Ortega, who also stars. Warner Bros. Clockwork, the studio's specialty label run by former Neon executives, will release the film theatrically. Production is scheduled to begin this fall, with a 2027 theatrical release planned.
