Project Summary
A musical theater production of Dear Evan Hansen with book by Steven Levenson and music and lyrics by Benj Pasek & Justin Paul. The production will be staged at Hangar Theatre in Ithaca, NY, with rehearsals beginning June 16, 2026 and opening July 9, 2026. The show follows Evan Hansen, a smart, sincere, and self-conscious teenager who struggles with connection and social anxiety. Produced by Hangar Theatre with Shirley Serotsky as Producing Artistic Director, directed by Gavin Meyer, with choreography by Aimee Rials and musical direction by Ben Kapilow.
