The political comedy is produced by Cineroost, with Ranjan Singh, and backed by executive producers Payal Kapadia and Anurag Kashyap, who previously supported Vats' acclaimed debut Eeb Allay Ooo! The project centers on a young Kashmiri shawl seller whose false confession to a crime spurs an investigation uncovering absurdities within the region's daily realities. The producing team spans India, the United States, and the UAE, with U. S. -based Cineroost handling global representation and markets. Filming locations and additional crew details have not yet been announced, but the project represents a significant step in Vats' career following his award-winning debut.
