Breeze

Breeze is an original ghost story in one act with live music. Recently widowed, Owen moves into a new house carrying the belongings and unfinished plans of the husband he lost. There he meets August Hale, a singer who died in 1962 and has remained in the house ever since. For the first time in decades, August is seen. Over the weeks that follow, two men separated by generations, life and death form an unexpected and deeply intimate connection. Through humor, music, grief and the things neither man has been able to say aloud, each forces the other to confront what it means to keep living, to be truly known, and eventually, to let someone go. Tender, funny and heartbreaking, Breeze explores grief, queer love, loneliness and the ways another person can change your life even when they cannot stay. Performances are scheduled for the first weekend of March 2027 at The Marilyn Monroe Theatre in West Hollywood, CA.
