About
Paul Schnee is a New York-based casting director and co-founder of Barden/Schnee Casting, which he formed with Kerry Barden in 2008. He is known for casting acclaimed films such as Spotlight (2015 Academy Award Best Picture winner), Winter's Bone, Dallas Buyers Club, Still Alice, The Help, and The Girl on the Train, among hundreds of others. Before casting, Schnee worked at ICM for legendary agent Sam Cohn and then served as assistant to director Mike Nichols. In addition to his prolific film and television casting career, he is an active theatre director in New York and a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, AMPAS, BAFTA, and the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers.
