The Valais Film Commission (VFC) is an official organisation affiliated with the departments of the Canton of Valais (Switzerland) responsible for culture and the economy, composed of a strategic Commission and an operational Bureau. Its mission is to welcome, assist, and support audiovisual productions in the canton, promoting Valais as a filming destination through logistical, administrative, and artistic support. The VFC offers a unique-in-Switzerland automatic cash rebate incentive of 15–35% for qualifying productions including feature films, animated films, and series, as well as one-off grants for documentaries, short films, and reality TV. Officially launched in August 2022, the commission is a member of both the Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI) and the European Film Commissions Network (EUFCN).
