Tokyo Broadcasting System Television, Inc. (TBS) is the principal subsidiary of TBS Holdings, Inc. and one of Japan's leading commercial television networks, serving the Kantō region and acting as the flagship station of the Japan News Network (JNN), a 28-affiliate nationwide network. Founded in 1951, TBS produces and broadcasts dramas, variety shows, news, and live sports — with globally famous formats including Takeshi's Castle and Ninja Warrior broadcast in over 150 countries. In recent years, TBS has expanded into co-production, global streaming, product merchandising, theme park licensing, and international program sales leveraging its extensive IP assets.
