Toei

Toei Company, Ltd. (東映株式会社) is one of Japan's largest and most storied entertainment conglomerates, founded in 1951 and headquartered in Kyobashi, Tokyo. The company is involved in film and television production, theatrical distribution, video game development, publishing, and the operation of cinema complexes, hotels, and theme parks. Toei is internationally renowned for its anime and tokusatsu franchises including Kamen Rider, Super Sentai (the basis for Power Rangers), Dragon Ball, One Piece, and Sailor Moon, and is the majority controlling shareholder of Toei Animation Co., Ltd. It is one of Japan's Big Four film studios and a member of the Motion Picture Producers Association of Japan (MPPAJ).
