Thirteenth Studios is a newly formed independent production company based in Hollywood, led by accomplished producer Joe Smith, focused on developing and producing globally driven, high-impact film and television content. The company specializes in commercially compelling, action-driven storytelling designed for worldwide audiences, operating primarily as an executive producing partner on major franchise projects. It has formed an exclusive strategic partnership with Hollywood Ventures Group (HVG) to develop the Platinum Universe IP library, and is attached as executive producer on Expendabelles, the female-led Expendables spinoff being developed with Eclectic Pictures, HVG, and Lionsgate.
