TF1 Films Production

TF1 Films Production is the cinema co-production and pre-purchase subsidiary of TF1 Group, incorporated on 1 December 1980 as a société par actions simplifiée (SAS), serving as TF1's primary vehicle for fulfilling French cinema investment obligations. The company co-produces and pre-purchases between 15 and 20 feature films per year — predominantly French comedies and mainstream titles targeting the TF1 Sunday prime-time slot — investing approximately €38–40 million annually, and has more than 600 films to its credit, including Oscar-winner La Vie en Rose, The Intouchables, and the Taxi franchise. Operating under the Studio TF1 Cinéma umbrella (formerly TF1 Studio), TF1 Films Production is targeting theatrical distribution of its own productions in France from 2026, with ambitions to reach 10–15 films per year by 2027.
