TANDEM Productions GmbH (legally STUDIOCANAL Series GmbH) is a Munich-based television production company founded in 1999 by Emmy-nominated producers Rola Bauer and Tim Halkin. The company is a leading European address for international co-productions of high-end drama television series, and has garnered Emmy, Gemini, and Golden Globe nominations and wins for productions including The Pillars of the Earth, World Without End, Crossing Lines, Spotless, and Shadowplay. In 2012, StudioCanal (a Canal+ Group/Vivendi subsidiary) acquired a majority stake; by May 2020, StudioCanal purchased all remaining shares, making TANDEM a 100% owned subsidiary exclusively distributed by STUDIOCANAL worldwide.
