Sundance TV

SundanceTV (formerly Sundance Channel) is an American pay television network owned and operated by AMC Networks (now AMC Global Media), launched on February 1, 1996. Originally dedicated to documentaries, independent films, short films, and world cinema, it has since expanded into original scripted, unscripted, and acquired programming, becoming fully ad-supported in 2013. The network is known for Emmy-, Golden Globe-, and Peabody Award-winning content and is available to approximately 54 million pay TV households in the United States, as well as on streaming platforms including AMC+ and Sundance Now. Its sister networks include AMC, IFC, BBC America, and WE tv.
