Spooky Tree Productions is the personal vanity production banner of American screenwriter and producer Katie Dippold, best known for writing The Heat (2013), co-writing the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot with Paul Feig, and writing the 2023 Haunted Mansion remake. The banner's primary credit is Apple TV+'s comedy-horror series Widow's Bay (2026), which Dippold created, wrote, and executive produced as showrunner. Following Widow's Bay's critical success and Season 2 renewal, Dippold signed a new multi-year overall deal with Apple TV in June 2026, encompassing both series and a first-look on features.
