Showbox

Showbox Corp. (Korean: 쇼박스) is one of South Korea's largest and most prominent film investment, production, and distribution companies, operating as the entertainment subsidiary of Orion Holdings Co., Ltd. Established in 2002, it has produced and distributed some of the highest-grossing films in Korean box office history, including Taegukgi (2004), The Host (2006), The Thieves (2012), Assassination (2015), A Taxi Driver (2017), and The Grave (2024), the latter attracting nearly 12 million viewers. In recent years, Showbox has expanded beyond film into television drama production, with global K-content hits including Itaewon Class and A Killer Paradox, and is actively pursuing international co-productions and cross-platform content distribution.
